More Information about
the Paulding Pregnancy Center
Paulding
Pregnancy is one of more than 2,500 non-profit "Pregnancy Resource Centers
located in the United States. PPS is committed to helping women as they face
unplanned pregnancies and support for their infant children. Using hands on
compassion, we provide free pregnancy testing, counseling, prayer, a clothing
closet, prenatal and parenting classes. We also provide an Earn While You Learn
Program that promotes these mothers into providing the best possible care for
their children while building their own self worth.
Whether single, married or
divorced, the lives of most women who enter a pregnancy resource center mirror
so many that are needing a guiding hand to help them along.
Your donations of diapers,
wipes, formula, baby food, baby clothes and other baby items helps to keep our
clothing closet full for these mothers to shop for their infants.
Abby
is 18, pregnant, unwed and scared. Abby has been in foster care since she was 8
years old after being removed from her home environment of being molested since
she was born. Destitute and despaired, Abby has made her way to the center
looking for help. She considers all of her options about this pregnancy. After
much prayer and counseling, she chooses to provide a life for herself and her
unborn child. She is working two full time jobs and has rented an apartment with
her sister. She attends the Heartbeat Prenatal and Parenting classes -and then
has monthly visits to the center. She buys diapers and wipes from the clothing
closet using her Heartbeat Money she has earned attending the Earn While You
Learn program. Baby Leigh was born last May. A wonderful addition to this world.
Mom is determined to provide for her daughter. She also found support in crisis
and knowledge and resources to help keep her family stable -amazing how much a
pack of diapers can do!
Services are provided regardless of age, income,
or nationality. We are committed to serving families in crisis. We believe that
our children are our greatest resource for the future. We believe that all
families need help sometime.
